IG Industries PLC manufactures and supplies polyethylene based films and converted products for packaging, horticulture and industrial purposes. We specialise in producing printed and plain film on the reel for high speed packaging lines. Our blown film extrusion plant is capable of extruding both mono and 3 layer coex films.

The major products we supply include collation shrinkwrap, pallet stretchfilm, embossed film for calendared rubber interleaving, mailing film, form fill and seal packing, lamination films, general purpose convertor films. These products are used across a wide spectrum of industry with many of our largest customers in the food and drinks sector.

Our manufacturing facilities are in Lincolnshire with extrusion, conversion and recycling plant at Elsham Wold. Our flexographic printing plant is located at Alford.

COLLATION SHRINKFILM
We market a comprehensive range of Shrinkfilm, utilising the latest extrusion and raw material technology, to ensure the most suitable film is available to our customers for the differing packaging line/product requirements that are encountered. Our range encompasses the needs of all types of twin reel fed and single reel fed shrinklines, seeking maximum packaging efficiency with assured pack integrity in the most cost effective manner. The films are both mono layer and three layer co-extruded construction and can be supplied either plain or printed.

We have a long history of supply into this market, and a long term commitment which we support by our stable raw material purchase policy, a flexibility in our manufacturing facilities, an ongoing research and development programme and a recent significant capital expenditure in new plant.

Our products are designed to provide individual customers with the film characteristics which are most appropriate to their individual circumstances. Shrink potential, sealability, stiffness, slip level, mechanical strength, clarity, resistance to holing, absence of static and ease of unwind are vital features that need careful consideration before the most suitable film decision is made.
